Got another question about using C4D.

I have an object that I want to dupe and mirror on the x axis. I am using the symmetry object but the problem is it's just duping the object but still linking to the original like an instance. So I cant edit or change it the new mirrored object. Is there anyway to get around this?

Okay. It's really easy to do... no need for the symmetry object!

Just select the object you want to mirror, then go to the Coordinates window.

Where it says size change it to scale.

Then simply simply change the x axis which should say 1 to -1. Easy.

I forgot, I would also make a copy of the original you are going to mirror.
